Description
- GL coding and recording for AP invoices.
- Monthly account reconciliations for Accounts Payable, Accounts Payable clearing.
- Optimize payment terms, AP related process and organize payment schedule.
- Prepares reports, verifies and check registers for approval review, approval and signatures.
- Facilitate payment of vendors. Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities.
- Communicate and respond to vendors’ inquiries.
- Organize office suppliers bidding and evaluating, participate in other supplier bidding.
- Process payroll on a timely basis and run payroll reports as necessary.
- Prepare tax related forms, assist various audits, and ensure company compliance.
- Maintain supplier W9 forms and ensure company compliance.
- Organize all AP related documents and ensure the complete and accurate.
- Assist with overall accounting records and ledgers. Assists in monthly closings. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and team player.
- Reporting research results
- Excellent time management; multi-tasked; deadline driven
- Data entry management and attention to detail
- General math skills
- Carefully monitoring outflow of capital
- College diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred
- 1-5 years’ experience in accounting preferred
