Verndale is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Boston, MA

About the Business Development Representative 

This role is a HYBRID role - this role is based in Boston. 

We are looking for fresh graduates and entry level sales talent who are hungry to become top performers with a “get it done” attitude. As part of our high-energy, success-hungry sales team, you will primarily book meetings for our Sales Executives to help them achieve aggressive revenue goals. This outbound cold-calling role is the perfect opportunity to learn the skills that pave the way for lucrative closing roles later

Responsibilities

  • Outbound cold calling to targeted prospect
  • Vetting and list-building prospects for targeted accounts
  • Booking qualified meetings between AE & prospects
  • Achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly quota
  • Being accountable for activity and dials per day
  • Understanding Verndale’s range of capabilities/services
  • Working closely with Manager and AE for best sales practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • No prior sales experience necessary (although 1-2 years of face-to-face customer service, retail or hospitality, is a plus)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to engage quickly
