The Wanderlust Group is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Boston, MA

We are searching for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team to be the primary revenue driver for the company, grow our network of customers, and take our product to market. This role will be instrumental in driving top of funnel opportunities for the sales team.
As a BDR @ The Wanderlust Group you will:
    • Connect with marina owners and Dockmasters every day, through high volume outbound calls, with the goal of exposing them to the Dockwa product and booking demos
    • Describe the company, the tools, the use cases and the benefits to the marina
    • Book as many product demos as possible for your teammate (each BDR teams up with an Account Executive to create a sales team)
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations and product teams to provide customer feedback across internal teams
We think the best candidates will:
    • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience
    • 0-1 years experience working in a BDR role at a SaaS company
    • Have a passion for pursuing a career in Sales
    • Proficiency working with Salesforce is a plus
    • Experience working in the marina industry is a plus
    • Be excellent communicators who take pride in describing complex concepts in simple, easy to understand terms
    • Love the idea of working in a small company and doing more with fewer resources
    • Love data and measurement and be excited about having achievement goals to beat
    • Be naturally optimistic and have the mental toughness to deal with objections

$50,000 - $60,000 a year
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $60,000 bonus equity benefits. OTE for this role is $75,000 - 85,000 with the potential to earn more as commission is not capped. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
This is an entry level sales role. We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking to grow a career in sales and that have a passion for working in the marina industry. We take pride in growing our Account Executives from within. In the BDR function you will work with exceptional sellers to learn and hone your skills as a seller.
