Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to join our team and support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general administrative support to the office staff, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling inquiries.
2. Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls, and coordinate calendars for multiple team members.
3. Maintain accurate records and databases, inputting data, updating information, and organizing files as needed.
4. Oversee office supplies inventory, order supplies when necessary, and ensure office equipment is properly maintained and operational.
5. Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and direct individuals to the appropriate staff members or departments.
6. Provide support to various departments with special projects, presentations, and events as needed.
7. Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail and shipments.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Previous administrative or office support experience is preferred but not required.
