Job Details

Job Location: Indianapolis - Freedom - Indianapolis, IN
Salary Range: Undisclosed

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop New Customer Business Accounts w/ Strategic Freight Solutions
  • Utilize Technology, Tools, and Resources to Develop a New Customer Pipeline
  • Qualify New Customer Leads Through Discovering Needs & Opportunities
  • Utilize Sales Proficiencies to Convert Qualified Leads into New Customer Accounts
  • Perform to Expected Call Volume, Lead Volume, & All Expected Sales Metrics
  • Maintain Ongoing Development of Knowledge in Dynamic & Changing Freight Markets
  • Mature, Manage, Maintain, & Grow Customer Accounts
  • Create and Implement Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.) to Meet Customer Needs & Expectations in order to Properly Service Each Customer Account
  • Mitigate & Resolve Customer Account Issues
  • Maintain a Clear Line of Communication and Expectations w/ Customers, Carrier Sales Teams, and Customer Service Representatives (C.S.R.)

Compensation Structure:

  • Business Development Rep will receive margin per load moved on new accounts (defined as loads not already set up with Freedom/Tradition) this individual adds to their book of business.
  • Salary
  • $40,000
  • Tier Commission Structure:
    • $0 - $49,999 - 8% of total margin
    • $50,000 - $74,999 - 10% of total margin
    • $75,000 - 12% of total margin
  • As BDR’s grow their book of business where they need assistance from an AM, 3% will be deducted to compensate the AM. Timing on this decided by BDR and Sales Manager.
  • Accounts that are contracted by and hauled by Tradition will count as a 12% margin load.
  • Warehousing opportunities brought on by rep will pay 2% commission on storage for first 2 years of customer launch
  • All numbers are driven off delivered loads within the given month for accounts assigned
  • Based and paid monthly trailing 68 weeks for collections.

  • 2-year or 4-year College Degree preferred, not required
