TORQ is a highly professional Sales and Distribution company that supplies the automotive industry’s car dealerships, independent shops, and franchises with a full line of shop supplies as well as the highest quality products and equipment to perform necessary fluid maintenance to their customer’s vehicles. Position Overview:
The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for providing oversight and coordination of a wide range of human resource functions, including but not limited to overseeing the day-to-day operations in recruiting, onboarding, talent management, team relations, and employee development. The HR Generalist will have a broad understanding of HR practices and will assist in managing overall HR functions. They will also lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.
What We Expect:
  • Assist management with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial phone screening interviews
  • Coordinate, manage, and implement onboarding processes
  • Manage employee benefits, including enrollment and changes
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Develop and implement engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Keep informed of best practices and make ongoing recommendations to create a more impactful employee engagement experience
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and assignments with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
Skills You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or closely related field of study
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of HR experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
