Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,580.88 * Annual Salary: $37,941.12

Responsibilities:
1. Determines eligibility of employees who inquire about FMLA, and provide them with FMLA Certification paperwork to employees to assist with accessing FMLA benefits.
2. Process authorized FMLA Certifications, ensuring completion and accuracy of submitted paperwork
3. Review / audit and track monthly updates from Timekeeping regarding FMLA hours usage.
4. Disseminates FMLA authorizations vis email and USPS mail, enters FMLA leave parameters into CareWare, and notifies managers and timekeeping of authorized allowances.
5. Enters Workers’ Compensation (WC) incidents and claims into RESTORE.
6. Disseminates WC paperwork to the affected parties, including injured employee, supervisory staff, timekeeping and CARO.
7. Communicate and track WC medical appointments to responsible parties.
8. Coordinate Temporary Modified Duty (TMD) assignments, including drafting TMD letters forboth workers’ comp injuries and personal injuries and communicating employee restrictions tomangers to identify possible assignments, prioritizing WC employees for these assignments.
9. Draft and disseminate Reasonable Accommodation paperwork to employees, including theReasonable Accommodation Request form and the Medical Inquiry form, informing employeesof their ADA rights.
10. Participates in the ADA interactive process and interview, drafts the letters informing employeesof their ability or inability to accommodate.
11. Drafts the ADA options letter and sends to the Attorney General for review, mailing out finalletter.
12. Processes Paternal leave requests, including determining eligibility of employee, processingpaperwork and communicating with timekeeping for leave approval.
13. Processed Long Term Disability applications for employees, including completing andcommunicating employer section of paperwork and communicating final determination totimekeeping and supervisory staff.
14. Prepares sick leave / workers’ comp data for Governing Body reports, including preparation ofExcel graphs.
15. This position will require travel between all campuses.
Eligibility:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)
  • Knowledge of Federal and State laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures
as applied to Human Resources areas and programs. Ability to exercise discretion and
confidentiality.
