We are hiring a Human Resource Generalist in NYC!

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8AM – 5PM

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the Architecture, Construction, & Design Industry.

Hiring / Recruiting:

• Manage the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Career Inbox
• Managed recruitment efforts

Employee Relations:

• Act as the first point person for HR queries
• Investigate complaints brought forward by employees
• Oversee, coordinate, track, and manage employee absences / Coordination & Administration of Company Benefits
• Partner with external benefits advisors and answer employee inquiries related to benefits and leave management
• Assist in the administration of our 401K plan, and any future equity process including creating vesting schedules,

assigning and distributing grants

• Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for

company requirements

• Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files to ensure compliance with all required statutory concerns and regulations

Accounting

• Vendor Invoices and Payments via check / ACH / Wire
• American Express reconciliations
• Monthly Employee Expense submissions
• Process semi-monthly (salary) and biweekly payroll (hourly) for 70 exempt and non-exempt employees

General

• Perform market/industry research as needed
• Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary
• Protect all information in line with legal regulations and maintaining confidentiality and trust.
• Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
• Interact with all company personnel in a pleasant, helpful, and courteous manner
• Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related

field preferred

• 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist
• Related certifications are a plus
