Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and onboarding of new employees including posting available positions, contact recruiters, and screen interviews
- Insurance and benefit administration including claims resolution, as well as work with brokers on application submissions
- Create and maintain training materials in compliance with HR laws and firm policies including HIPAA
- Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures
- Maintain personnel records and upkeep
- Responsible for labor law compliance and leave administration as well as Texas Workforce Commission
- Develop trust amongst employee and be reasonably available to answer questions
- Plus other HR responsibilities normally under this title
- 5 years in Human Resources
- Legal industry or investment banking industry experience highly preferred
- Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead and promote a safe and positive work environment
- Tech savvy
