Job Overview

The HR Strategic Projects Manager leads the effective and efficient operations related to broader management of ATW’s back-end people operations. This position will focus on implementing operational improvements within the ATW HR team – helping to enable our HR team to serve our customers/Team Members effectively. This position will serve as a key conduit for helping to positive influence how the broader ATW organization interacts with HR. They will tackle projects related to data integrity, HRIS management, Talent Management, Onboarding, etc. They will provide support, leadership, to our HR teams and all those employees that help manage Team Members. Focus areas may include training, employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, communications, compensation, and regulatory compliance. In this role, the HR Strategic Projects Manager will report to the VP of HR.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage operational improvements within the ATW HR team – focused on helping to run smooth and consistent people operations.
  • Utilize data to identify trends and diagnose organizational effectiveness issues (specifically use our Paycom system)
  • Influences people leaders to implement changes needed to improve functional performance.
  • Encourage employee success by focusing on simplifying processes through innovation, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and a friendly work environment.
  • Assist with the development, design, and launch of learning events including tool deployment and training.
  • Create and report on employee onboarding, orientation, new hire survey and exit interviews.
  • Help manage our HRIS, ATS and LMS – looking for operational improvement.
  • Assist in recruiting process from requisition (hiring goal setting) to hiring process (helping to accelerate hiring process).
  • Run reports
  • Contribute to the HR Department annual goals.
  • Promote, live organizational core values, and acts as cultural champion.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.

Education – Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years related HR management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws.
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits
  • Proficient computer skills (HRIS, LMS, ATS, travel, engagement, surveys, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Positive attitude and desire to comply with the ATW culture and core values
