Our flagship location in LA, set to open in Spring 2024, offers a range of amenities that cater to our diverse membership, including an intimate coffee shop, bar, and dinner venue. We pride ourselves on providing unparalleled hospitality and personalized service, making every visit to The Social Club an unforgettable experience.

As we continue to grow, we aim to expand our reach with our sights set on opening new clubs in exciting metropolitan cities across the United States and abroad. We are a small team looking for a talented individual who is eager to grow our menu and brand with us. We hope this person will be enthusiastic about growing with our company, helping shape the food service at The Social Club as we expand to new locations. With a commitment to quality ingredients and outstanding service, we strive to create unforgettable moments for everyone who walks through our doors.

About the Role

As our Chef de Cuisine, you will play a pivotal role in standardizing our menu offerings across our establishment while infusing creativity and expertise into our culinary operations. You will streamline processes, enhance menu items, and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Our clubhouse features a small kitchen, providing a creative challenge for someone interested in crafting an elevated bar menu. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to standardize recipes, portion sizes, and plating techniques for our menu items.
  • Develop and introduce new dishes that align with our brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Train kitchen staff on standardized cooking techniques and recipe execution.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ingredient sourcing and cost control measures.
  • Support day-to-day kitchen operations as a line cook during peak service hours.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about culinary excellence, experienced in kitchen operations, and eager to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will possess:

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in professional kitchen environments, preferably in a sous chef, line cook or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient combinations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Creative flair and willingness to experiment with new culinary ideas.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a kitchen environment.
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
