The Role

The SDR role is the most challenging job in sales, and no parent has ever said to themselves, “I want to raise the next great cold-caller”. On the SDR team at Tethr, we believe that Sales Development does not have to be as cold as the calls we make. Cold outreach is essential to the future of Tethr, and our SDRs are the engine that moves that future forward. Being an SDR at Tethr means you will have empowering support from leadership, enthusiastic partnership with your peers, and an environment that breeds recognition, friendly competition, and career growth.

The perfect person for this role is a self-starter who owns their performance and progress. Someone who brings their own ideas but is open to trying new approaches is a great addition to our team. Lastly, and most importantly, in the words of Ted Lasso, “Be a goldfish”*. As Ted reminds us, the goldfish has the shortest memory of any sea creature swimming and being an SDR, you HAVE to have the same mindset. With a high amount of dials and rejection, dealing with the ebbs and flows healthily and productively is a must.
