Our Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) are our potential clients' first interaction with the business outside of our marketing campaigns. As an SDR, your job is to consistently reach out to all new leads who don’t book calls themselves and have quality conversations where you work to understand the prospect, their goals, and their challenges.
If they qualify as an ideal client and are open to the next step, your job is to set them up for enrollment calls with Account Executives (AE’s) for an in-depth conversation about getting hands-on help in solving their problems and achieving their goals.
This is a question-based sales role where you must be comfortable with asking tough questions, challenging prospects, and educating them when necessary.
Our sales philosophy is this: we believe that your only job is to do what’s best for each prospect, which almost always consists of asking the right questions to uncover the main problems holding them back from their biggest goals and challenging them to take action on the next step in the sales process if that’s truly what’s best for them.
How this sales process works: our marketing team does a phenomenal job of collecting thousands of leads each month from established business owners looking to grow. Some of those leads will book a call directly onto an AE’s calendar, while others won’t. The ones that won’t will be those you are focused on reaching out to.
This sales cycle is often short. Some clients will enroll on one call with an AE, and others will take multiple. The marketing team at DigitalMarketer is world-class at warming prospects up and educating them on our process before the call. You will be looking to replicate as much of that process as possible with the prospects you set up for enrollment calls with an AE.
Because of all this, we are looking for someone who has the knowledge to navigate and lead high-level strategic conversations about the prospects business and has the sales skills to be able to ask the right questions and build enough value for the prospect to feel comfortable moving forward in the shortest amount of time.
We understand that this is a junior-level role, and because of that, we will be spending lots of time training you and giving you feedback on what’s working and what’s not working. Those that do well in this role will make 6 figures.
While not on the phone, you must maintain a high level of focus on time management, communication with teammates, and have the ability to manage multiple channels of outreach while staying organized and not letting leads/conversations slip through the cracks.

About Digital Marketer
DigitalMarketer was founded in the early 2010’s, and we’ve learned quite a bit from our years of digital marketing experience. We were like you when we started.
For every year of our existence we’ve dealt with wild changes in technologies, platforms, societal trends, and economic upheaval, requiring us to evolve constantly. Unlike you, we’ve spent much of that time networking with the top professionals in every digital marketing method to ensure that we teach the most effective and up to date strategies available.
After 10 years of building digital marketing courses and teaching over 120,000 marketers and business owners, DigitalMarketer has changed the paradigm of the marketing profession. We have helped turn marketers from overlooked and temporary individuals into vital and indispensable components to business success.
We did this by creating a systematized process that combines the ever changing methods of marketing (email, social media, content, influencer, SEO, etc.) into a cohesive process that delivers results.
Rather than dictating how we think you should use different marketing methods, we partner with active marketing professionals and business owners that are making money using proven practices. We then combine these techniques with our cohesive process to help you acquire clients and guide them to success.
