With a dedication to service, our Sales team goes out and executes in the market. That’s how you build relationships. You’ll work closely with regional sales to drive revenue growth and profitability, achieving sales goals for key retail accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, high-energy teammate to grow business with major retailers. Reports to: Director, Key Accounts Direct Reports: NA Location: Remote work from home, ideally in Upstate NY #LI-Remote Annual Bonus Potential: 25% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets. Base Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience) Note: This range is a regional average, but compensation will be reviewed based on geographical location depending on where the applicant will be working. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market. Plus, a stipend to cover your time on the road. Drive key retailer business, in order to meet the set objectives, annual volume, and profitability targets, while impacting the overall business plans and strategies for the Company. Develop business plans and meaningful KPI's, including annual and monthly sales objectives, with new and established accounts. Align strategies with the Director/Vice President responsible for the territory. Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volumes of targeted distribution channels and creating avenues to increase volume via ACV analysis, syndicated data analysis, promotional efficiency, and service levels. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends on pricing, products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc., making recommendations where necessary. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to all key account customers to include new items, promo strategies, brand/category recommendations, and category/brand market trends via syndicated data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other key stakeholders to implement key sales proposals and execute distribution strategies to service retail commitments. In conjunction with sales leadership, develop annual budgets, monitoring throughout the year for opportunities for greater efficiency and cost reduction. Complete other responsibilities as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience. 5 years of sales experience, ideally with Consumer Package Goods and/or beverages. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to travel up to 40-50%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments. Professional appearance and demeanor. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. This role is safety-sensitive. This means that as part of your core responsibilities, you will be regularly responsible for your own safety and/or the safety of others (e.g., driving on behalf of the company, or working in a warehouse/plant environment). For eligible Rain Makers, spend this extra monthly stipend as you wish, but know it’s intended to contribute to things like your phone, internet or other business uses while working remotely or needs outside of normal working hours. Relocation: Relocation Available (when available) Vehicle Program – Field Sales Specialist – Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate Field Sales Managers and Market Managers – Company car included! Regional Sales Managers and Sales Directors – We use the leader in vehicle reimbursement solutions, Motus. This program provides a monthly fixed and variable rate that adheres to IRS guidelines for the business use of personal vehicles. HQ Directors/VPs – Vehicle Stipend – This role qualifies for a vehicle stipend equaling $650/$800 monthly. 401k with Immediate Vesting.
