Southview Acres Health Care Center is a Residential Health Care Facility striving to provide the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist infection prevention (IP) with COVID-19 related tasks including but not limited to testing,

maintaining documentation, assist with reporting to MDH/CMS, auditing, education, and fit testing.

• Assist Director of Staff Development with training new and veteran staff.

• Assist in training staff to use mechanical and standing lifts.

• Assist in facilitating general orientation and veteran’s training.

• Assist the Director of Nursing in quality assurance activities, including auditing cares and medication passes.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

·Current licensed practical nurse through Minnesota (LPN)

·Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written.

·Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
