About: Lyngblomsten, a 225-bed care center located in Saint Paul near Como Park, is in search of an Administrative Support Nurse! The nurse will be responsible for facilitating planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of various nursing systems, procedures and policies in order to meet objectives of the nursing department.

Responsibilities:

1. Investigate, assess, plan for, implement and evaluate clinical software systems for the nursing department, including training needs, hardware needs and system maintenance.

2. Coordinate pharmacy delivery systems for the facility, including monitoring for compliance with policies, contracts, consumer / provider expectations and take actions accordingly.

3. Act as a staff liaison to the pharmacy vendor(s).

4. Coordinate pharmacy vendor transitions as the need arises.

Qualifications: 

1. Current nursing license in the state of Minnesota

2. Minimum 3 years experience in a long-term care facility

3. Experience with clinical software systems

4. Comfortable with computer use

5. Experience in teaching other professional staff

6. Experience in pharmacy systems, medication management

7. Fundamental knowledge of skilled nursing facility rules and regulations

8. Ability to work independently on complex projects within deadlines

9. Has or will obtain CPR certification within three months of hire

10. Strong written and verbal communication skills

11. Ability to work well within a team toward common goals

12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously
