Summary/Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Human Resources Director. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the HR department in recruiting, nurturing, and retaining high-performing staff. This role encompasses various HR functions, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration and training and development. All duties will be performed in accordance with Summit Academy OIC's policies and procedures, and in adherence to applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as: computers (with keyboard and mouse), phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary position, requiring the ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time. Extensive use of computer, keyboard and mouse.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Summit Academy OIC’s business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. The specific work schedule is flexible and will be mutually agreed upon by the candidate and the hiring manager.
