Description
Program Management Analyst
Performs qualitative and quantitative analyses, including project planning and execution, life cycle acquisition planning and management, risk analysis and mitigation plan development. Analyzes project requirements and provides support in the areas of business/financial/acquisition management. Also requires experience in complex technical programs. Demonstrated experience with work breakdown structures, cost accounting principles/financial models, schedule development and analysis, technical performance measurement, portfolio management governance, budget formulation and investment analysis support for various Acquisition Management System decisions and activities is required.
Duties:
The Planning and Performance Branch (AUS-120) supplies prompt and critical support through various programs that touch on every part of AUS. This includes internal and external coordination and communication, relationship management, change management, strategic thinking, and consensus building. Program management support is need for a diverse range of distinct and highly visible areas. This encompasses, but is not limited to, the management of functions like Business Planning, Records Management, Correspondence, SharePoint, Freedom of Information Act Program, and the GAO/OIG audit program.
More specifically, assists in the development of the annual FAA planning process, and coordinates AUS-owned reporting metrics with other offices across the FAA. Supports business planning activities and the UAS strategic priorities and initiatives. Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager.
Reviews records management activities and helps ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Supports the FAA Records and Information Management program for AUS, working closely with POCs across AUS to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with applicant guidance and law.
Contributes to the smooth operation of Agency programs, such as FOIA and OIG/GAO, by making information needed for decision-making and operational readiness readily available.
Assignments may require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines. Typical assignments may include: tracking and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems; and recommending improvements to systems and processes.
Applies independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish projects or activities.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related technical or management discipline and 2 years of experience in performing the above duties. Bachelor’s Degree may be waived with 5 years of experience in performing the above duties.
Required Skills:
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
