Description
SAIC is looking for a dynamic and innovative Deputy Program Manager (DPM) with excellent management and people skills. This position will require technical acumen to assist the Program Manager to oversee a complex, multi-disciplinary engineering program in an innovative, dynamic, and dispersed work environment. Ability to articulate and communicate across all levels of program personnel up to and including senior sponsor executives.
As DPM for a critical program for the Marine Corps, the DPM leads and takes ownership of all matters relating to and adherence of all contract requirements including controlling financial and administrative costs, staffing, tracking and supporting the Program Manager with delivery of technical contract deliverables, subcontracting, quality assurance, and other requirements as levied by the sponsor. The program delivers a capability upgrade to the Marine Corps Counter UAS capability.
The DPM will be responsible for financial oversight of this large Fixed Price contract. Financial oversight includes, working with the program's project controller to plan, execute and track all financial related tasks, work closely with the contracts, subcontracts, and procurement leads to acquire all program related material and services.
The DPM supports the sponsor's goal to improve the lethality of the existing capability using innovative, open systems design.
The DPM assists the Program Manager to ensure compliance with quality standards, firm fixed price delivery, and contract compliance, and notify SAIC leadership before they become issues.
This position provides the opportunity to lead a team that increases the lethality of existing systems and provides critical force protection to Marines.
Manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.
