U.S. Secret Service is Hiring a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst Near Washington, DC

Duties

The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Office of Investigations. Typical work assignments include:

  • Manage a team of analytics, computer scientists, and digital forensics professionals responsible for performing analysis in support of investigations;
  • Delegate tasks and assign personnel to support specific investigations being conducted;
  • Establish relationships, maintain ongoing engagement, and collaborate with stakeholders;
  • Conduct briefings and advise counterparts on the methods and techniques to be used in performing analytical research; and
  • Develop curricula and provide training to stakeholders on an array of criminological and information research-related topics.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience
You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $139,395.00) if you possess one one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
  • Coordinating activities related to cyber investigations with external law enforcement agencies to maintain the integrity of ongoing investigations or operations;
  • Leading programs and policy development to grow an organization's cybercrime investigation capabilities;
  • Evaluating the impact of cybercrime threats to determine the level of interference warranted; and
  • Overseeing the work of staff (i.e., assigning work, developing performance standards, making authoritative decisions regarding personnel actions, etc.).
Selective Placement Factor(s): Selective placement factors are applied in the same manner as minimum qualification requirements. Relevant selective placement factor experience must be well documented in your resume. Failure to meet a selective placement factor will result in you not receiving further consideration. In addition to the minimum qualifications described above, you must meet the following selective placement factor(s):
  • Applicant must demonstrate fluency in the Russian language (speak, read and write). This will be measured using a foreign language proficiency test based on the Federal Inter agency Language Round table (FILR) level description system. The applicant must achieve a score of Speaking 3, General Professional Proficiency (S-3) or Speaking 3 , General Professional Proficiency, Plus (S-3 ).
