Position: Management and Program Analyst, GS-13

Division: IT Infrastructure Division

Section: IT Business Management Section

Location: Washington, DC

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible)

Salary: GS-13 $117,962.00-$153,354.00

Full Performance level: GS-13

Number of Positions Available: 1

Duration: Full Time/Permanent

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Mission Statement:

The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Major Duties

  • Prepares, presents, and defends recommendations and findings to management in written reports, memoranda, executive summaries, and analytical narratives. These may serve as the basis for decisions regarding the continuation, re-direction, or termination of projects.
  • Providing a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations.
  • Participates as a team member in processing various Section/Division communications.
  • Assesses the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations and/or analyze and resolve problems in the staffing, effectiveness, and efficiency of administrative management activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for application to complex agency programs or operations.

Specialized Experience (SE):

GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience planning, scheduling, and completing analyses and evaluation of a program to assess the effectiveness of management and/or program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Experience researching and investigating new or improved business management to accept and implement recommendations.
  • Experience multitasking while working independently and on a team.
  • Experience advising and guiding executive management relative to a variety of issues both orally and in writing.
  • Experience analyzing and developing methods to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes or administrative support functions.
