Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Department: Physical Therapy
Summary: Responsible for being an amazing & caring ambassador of our company through the use of communication with patients on the phone and in person.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Acts an amazing & caring ambassador of our company.*
2. Greets and welcomes patients.*
3. Answers the practice phone and screens calls as necessary.*
4. Checks voicemail and returns phone calls.*
5. Schedule new patient appointments.*
6. Approves appointment cancellations and reschedules (phone or email).*
7. Prints copies of handouts, ensures handouts are well stocked and organized.*
8. Cleans office.*
9. Organizes the office.*
10. Washes and folds laundry.*
11. Sets up rooms between patients.*
12. Checks patients out and schedules next appointment.*
13. Writes thank you notes, addresses them, adds a stamp, and provides them to Ben ready to sign.*
14. Posts (blog articles & videos) to the clinics Facebook page and repost/share to your personal page.*
15. Enters patient information into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) & Marketing Campaigns.*
16. Opens and closes office.*
17. Coordinates the owner’s personal schedules and events.*
18. Re-stocks and re-orders merchandise, office supplies, water, and cups when needed.*

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software.
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
· A warm and calming demeanor and an affinity towards communicating comfortably with new people and making them feel welcome.
· Natural empathy and compassion for those in pain.
· Willingness to learn and implement feedback.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Be a Self-Starter.
· Desire to work in an intimate setting, where our clients are only treated 1 patient per hour.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
