What You Will Do:
Exercises full responsibility for the total management of programs and systems. Responsible for the development of overall program management plan, requirements, execution, control, and direction of the work and associated resources required for management of the program and associated products; for meeting and dealing with various customers in a variety of forums; and for a full range of personnel management responsibilities. Familiarity with U.S. Army Operations, the six Army Modeling & Simulation Communities and Live-Virtual-Constructive applications.

• Ability to manage multidisciplined, cross-functional team including prime and subcontractor resources
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal executive management and customer management
• Ability to plan and manage complex schedules, staffing plans and budgets for a concurrent agile software development and support program
• Responsible for cultivating and maximizing program growth opportunities, from opportunity identification through contract modification award
• Responsible for management and professional development of prime contractor team resources
• Responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive relationship with customer management and maximizing program performance ratings
• Must have 12-15 years professional experience with 5 years being supervisory and program management experience, experience in managing large groups of engineers, experience in the simulation industry.
• Skilled in project planning, basis of estimate, estimate to complete, proposal development, program budgets, staffing plans and detailed analysis of state of program including both financial and technical status.
• Good writing, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Must have experience at hiring and managing employees.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Project
• Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• Position requires US Citizenship and an active US Government Secret or Top-Secret security clearance

 Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a PM working with PEO STRI on constructive simulation programs
• Experience managing programs with RMF based cybersecurity requirements
• Previous Army operational experience, ideally including experience with one or more of the six Army M&S communities
• PMP certification
• Agile certification (ie ACP, CSM, SAFE etc)
• Proficiency with Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira)
