The Program Manager is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists in concept formulation, planning, design, production, testing, fielding and sustainment of hardware simulation devices used to support pilot and maintenance training operations. Responsible to executes assigned programs within the DoD Acquisition Framework including management of cost, schedule and performance attributes of complex projects. Responsible to develop and manage manpower planning, project budgets, work break down structures, resource controls, task assignments, risk assessment and mitigation, Earned Value Management and resource provisions. Responsible to interface with other department disciplines including quality control, configuration management, manufacturing/ production, and life cycle support/logistics for management of assigned projects. Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish a goal within time constraints is a must. Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and communicate successfully with a customer.
