Parthenon Plumbing Heating & Cooling is Hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Near Nashville, TN

Job Description:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) performs outbound calls to Parthenon’s current customers in a strategic manner to schedule new plumbing and HVAC service calls. The SDR will also perform follow-up contacts on estimates previously provided to customers and serve as a backup for inbound customer calls.

Full-time (40 hours per week)
Hours: 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions of the CSR include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform 100 to 120 outbound calls per day to current Parthenon customers utilizing targeted lists and promotions to schedule 5 to 10 new plumbing and HVAC service calls per day.
  • Have a courteous and pleasant demeanor on every phone call, in every email, and in person. Know that courteousness affects other team members’ spirit.
  • Serve as a secondary contact for answering inbound phone calls.
  • Perform follow up contacts (calls, texts and e-mails) on estimates provided by technicians to customers.
  • Utilize a sales-focused mindset on each call to convert appointments and sales. Creating interest for promotions and benefits of membership to both establish customers, and new potential customers.
  • Good communication with the customer is essential! Taking care of our customers is a higher priority than any other task. We want our customers to be ecstatic about how they are treated.
  • Outbound call experience – warm or cold calls. The ability to emotionally handle a high rejection rate is essential.
  • Maintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty towards Parthenon.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Benefits we offer

  • Base: $16 - $17 hourly, paid weekly
  • Commission paid each revenue-generating appointment set, each Parthenon Partners membership sold, and estimates converted to sales, paid weekly
  • Target total compensation (base plus commission) between $65k and $95k per year

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Associated degree preferred but not required
  • 3 to 5 years of inside sales appointment booking preferred
  • Tech savy and proficient in using Microsoft Office software
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • General knowledge of basic home service needs.
