BACKEND DEVELOPER
Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their growing and talented engineering team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you must possess strong backend, hands-on dev experience with Nest JS, Node JS, MVC, AWS, and CI/CD following TDD.
This is a direct hire and required current PERMANENT US work authorization. Calls about C2C or 3rd party work will not be answered.

Responsibilities:

• Impactful role in software design and delivery of the case management and external-facing portal products
• Interact with engineers and business partners at all levels and with teams across functional areas
• Promoting a collaborative culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and test features to support the growth of the company's software products.
• Take ownership and responsibility of the team's goals and be a good steward to our products
• Implementing features across the stack including database queries, backend APIs, and U/I
• Collaborate with product, design, business stakeholders, and other engineers

Skills and experience:

• 5 years of backend development for a software company or start up
• Must have professional development with Node JS, Nest JS, AWS, CI/CD
• Experience writing automated tests (Unit, Functional, etc.)
• Proficient in a backend MVC framework and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Working knowledge of a modern JS library (Vue.js, React, etc.)
• Developing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Be able to solve difficult problems with well architected and reusable software solutions
• Experience in optimizing those solutions for speed, stability and scalability
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Working knowledge of SQL (Queries, Joins, etc.)
