Position Summary:
Provide high-level administrative support to Bank executives and senior management by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests and performing administrative and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a four-year degree in business or finance preferred.
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient keyboarding skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office software particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of various office machines; general knowledge of organization operations; visual and auditory skills. Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with the public and other employees. Must be able to organize work and determine priorities. The ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and flexibility in working hours.
A minimum of (5) years’ prior Administrative experience is required; relative experience as an Administrative Assistant to a Vice President overseeing a department is preferred, but not required.
Essential Duties:
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties for executive leadership to include scheduling of meetings, conferences, etc.; schedule, arrange appointments, interviews, business trips, etc.; maintain a schedule of commitments to avoid conflicts; make reservations for meetings; manage the executive(s) ’s calendar and e-mails; greet and receive customers and visitors.
Open, sort, and prioritize incoming mail as assigned; evaluate and route incoming mail and assemble related information; prepare letters, correspondence, reports, memos, and other relevant papers and/or documents; draft routine correspondence as appropriate; type and sign some standard letters of reply within scope of authority.
Collect and organize data.
Marketing for the region. Responsible for set-up and organization for every community or business event.
Order supplies.
