Your Job
The Regional Director of Business Development will be responsible for the Fort Worth region. You will work on developing new and maintaining existing client relationships within this territory in support of achievement of public relations programs and activities, order intake and profitability objectives. Development, organization, implementations and evaluation of sales strategies and business development plan to maximize top line growth and profitability within the organization’s long-term care solution offerings. Will maintain a thorough knowledge of the center’s admissions requirements, services and programs, admission policies and procedures and procedures.
Qualifications
• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related course of study (Communications or Marketing; or Healthcare Administration), preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in marketing experience, design and strategy, data collection and analysis, required.
• Five (5) years of experience working in long-term care facilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of experience working in consultative sales in healthcare or other industry transactions, preferred.
Responsibilities
• Builds and maintains partnerships with hospitals and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to current and potential residents; Identifies and develops key referral sources and builds working relationships with these contacts to maintain or increase the quality and quantity of referrals to the community; Responsible for building referral source relationships in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and senior-service related organization within the community.
• Build and grow census and quality mix by developing the market, working with acute care and other referral sources and providing prospective residents and/or responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance to choosing the nursing center. Drives business growth by meeting or exceeding census goals.
• Develops and implements marketing strategies for the organization. Manages and priorities the day-to-day activities to support and grow business within an assigned territory. Pursues new business opportunities within an assigned territory
• Develops short term and long-term strategies focused on developing relationships with physicians, and physicians groups, physician practice managers, and medical facility administration.
• Develops and manages relationships with key accounts, leverages existing client base and actively pursues new business opportunities.
• Develops strategies, budgets, and plans to achieve sales goals.
• Responsible for the creation, implementation and management of resident programs designed to provide enrichment in the areas of clinical services, social services, community involvement and other marketed services.
• Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Reports progress management; keeps track of data and analysis of the performance.
• May temporarily assume the position of marketing liaison in case of an unplanned vacancy, when qualified.
• Evaluates, develops, and implements policies and procedures consistent with corporate guidelines and marketing initiatives.
• Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to the leadership team
• Expand community base and develop referral relationships with but not limited to: senior-service organizations, case manager’s/discharge planners from hospitals, rehabs and nursing homes, adult day care centers, geriatric physicians, assisted living, retirement communities, etc.
• Understand local industry trends to represent and differentiate the company and its services in the market.
• Create comprehensive individualized hospital plans that focus on the CMS Bundle Payment Care Initiative, Preferred Partner Network, and Accountable Care Organizations.
• Accurately generate required reports and documentation of marketing activity including weekly schedule, marketing action plan, activity log, etc., within designated time frame.
• Cultivate high-level relationships with key personnel who manage Post-Acute Networks including, BPCI-A Network Managers, Post-Acute Network Representative, and Post-Acute Operations Managers.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of the center’s products, services, capabilities and physician relations.
