Next Level Urgent Care is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, practices, and relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to support the financial aspects of their operations
- Support the Accounting Manager in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Mentor and assist in the development of junior accounting staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
- 4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
