SUMMARY
General Ledger and analysisexpert, with strong accounting background, knowledge of US GAAP and otherguiding principles and processes. Must beable to work independently with little supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for month end close, including historic true-ups, amortizations and any others that may be required.
- Review and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations for various legal entities and request appropriate explanations.
- Preparation of Fixed Asset roll forward for multiple entities.
- Prepare and analyze Statutory reconciliations.
- Review and analyze variance analysis explanations.
- Assist with internal & external audits by preparing and/or reviewing fluctuations for significant accounts between periods. This also includes the preparation of other audit schedules for designated balances sheet accounts, as requested by the external auditors.
- Analyze Intercompany transactions to ensure they are properly accounted for.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties andresponsibilities satisfactorily, have the ability to work with tight deadlinesand be able to prioritize the workload.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from four-year college/university.
- Minimum of 5 years general ledger accounting and analysis experience.
- Oracle or other integrated accounting software experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS office with advance MS Excel skills required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read andcomprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to composeroutine correspondence with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groupsituations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
None required, however CPAor CPA candidate preferred.
