If you are looking to join a great team, have a background in accounting, are outgoing and have outstanding customer service skills, a detail oriented, extremely organized, able to work independently, and a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced high-volume environment - Apply Today! What you will be doing:· Preparation of corporate-wide consolidated financial statements; · Provide PBC schedules/support with accounting and compliance documentation and maintain monthly and quarterly reporting support binders;· Assist with the assessment of new accounting literature;· Perform technical accounting research and assist with the preparation of accounting position papers as needed (US GAAP); · Assist in the corporate-wide filing of sales tax returns (thru Avalara); and · Other accounting and special projects as requested.What you will need:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • 7-10 years minimum relevant experience. • CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification preferable.• Exposure to SEC financial reporting, accounting and financial controls in a publicly traded corporate financial environment is a plus • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables) • Experience in Net Suite is preferable • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to effectively interact with senior management. • Trustworthy, with ability to maintain confidential information. • Highly dependable individual with ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.About Us: LuminessLuminess is a Houston, Texas based Direct to Consumer beauty & wellness company.
