Human Resources Specialist

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for providing HR administrative and technical support to the Good Hope and 87th Street facilities in accordance with company policies and procedures related to onboarding processes, learning, and development, employee relations, recruiting, employee engagement activities, HRIS, benefits, leaves of absences, payroll, EHS, and other HR related duties as assigned.
This position serves as a backup for the Human Resources Business Partner and has a dotted line reporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach above shoulders; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (unassisted). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The position is an office-based position located at the manufacturing facilities. The employee will be exposed to machinery and loud noises.
