Job Title: Quality ManagerCompany: Triad TechnologiesLocation: Bloomingdale, ILOverview:The Manager of Quality Assurance & Compliance is responsible for monitoring and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the organization. This role involves overseeing processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
    • Understand the needs of interested parties (e.g., customers, suppliers) and determine their requirements.
    • Maintain up-to-date information on interested parties.
    • Establish and continually improve QMS processes based on ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.
    • Ensure process flow mapping is accurate and track continual improvement.
  2. Customer Focus and Product Conformity:
    • Identify risks and opportunities that may affect product conformity.
    • Manage risks and opportunities related to product quality.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to address customer needs effectively.
    • Manage Compliance Regulatory Reporting (outsourced)
  3. Responsibility and Authority:
    • Assign responsibility and authority for QMS activities (e.g., ensuring conformance, promoting customer focus, reporting on QMS performance).
    • Act as a point of contact for QMS-related matters.
  4. Quality Objectives:
    • Monitor established quality objectives.
    • Report quality objective progress to top management.
  5. Internal and External Communication:
    • Communicate well with customers, suppliers, and coworkers regarding quality matters.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the organization.
  6. Nonconformity and Corrective Action:
    • Manage nonconformity and corrective action processes.
    • Ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Business).
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or related roles.
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment.
  • Experience with QT-9 (QMS Software), Epicor Profit 21 (ERP) preferred.
Additional Notes:
  • The Manager of Quality Assurance may collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and quality control.
  • Regular audits and process reviews are essential to maintain compliance with ISO standards.
