Job Description: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Are you a sales unicorn with a rare love for technology and sales? Are you a tech-savvy, results-driven livewire? Do you have a knack for closing deals and bringing in new IT Managed Services clients? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as an IT Business Development Representative!

As an IT Business Development Representative, your mission will be to expand our client base, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance our market presence. In this role, you will unleash your creativity, determination, and business acumen to identify opportunities and close on various stages of the sales process. High-volume cold calling and social media networking skills are essential elements of this role.

PLEASE NOTE: This role will start as an inside sales position. Once training is completed and daily responsibilities are consistently met, the role will migrate to a mixed inside/outside sales role including offsite networking activities and in-person proposal meetings for potential customers.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contact potential customers via telephone to qualify and close on in-person discovery meetings
  • Complete 70 outgoing phone connections DAILY
  • Proactively develop a NEW portfolio of clients through a mix of phone, email, and LinkedIn solicitations.
  • Maintain detailed records of ALL phone and networking activities in CRM platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including company leadership, the marketing team, and the technical team, to drive successful sales presentations and client onboardings.

SKILLS NEEDED

  • 2-3 years of previous inside sales experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Coachable and open to learning the systemized approach for setting appointments.
  • Consistent with following scripting and training to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a strong focus on addressing customer objections and buying motives.
  • Proven ability to aggressively develop new business prospects and relationships.
  • Excellent phone and written communications skills and the ability to engage in PRODUCTIVE professional networking activities.
  • Proficiency Office, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
