Position Summary:
KFF’s Human Resources Team works collaboratively to provide a wide range of HR services and support to our staff. We are seeking an energetic and detail oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide critical support to our general HR functions across the team, playing a key role in supporting KFF’s recruiting efforts, coordinating responses to internal inquiries, administering leaves of absence, and various other tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and resourceful with excellent follow-through, and capable of providing the highest level of support and assistance to internal staff and to external job candidates. This position will be privy to highly confidential information and will be responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality of such information at all times. This is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, Staffing and Employee Engagement, based in KFF’s Washington, DC office. The Coordinator will also work closely with KFF’s San Francisco-based HR staff on a regular basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This full-time position will be based in KFF’s Washington, DC office, located downtown near Metro Center. KFF is currently working a hybrid schedule and requires all staff to work in the office a minimum of two days a week.
Compensation
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes an excellent benefits package.
The annual salary range for the Human Resource Coordinator position is between $75,000 and $90,000. Our job titles and salary ranges may span more than one career level, and the salary offered to a candidate will be determined based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and our practice of upholding salary equity within the organization.
