The Department of Pretrial Services has an immediate need for a Case Navigator in Franklin County.
The Department of Pretrial Services oversees a statewide program based on the premise that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty and are entitled to reasonable bail. This premise is supported by federal and state constitutions.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for participant intake utilizing an eligibility assessment.
• Ensure participant completes clinical assessment within statutory framework and assist participant and provider with coordination of assessment will assist participants with locating and connecting to community resources.
• Assist with collection, maintenance and reporting of data for behavioral health conditional dismissal program and ensure statutory compliance from providers and prosecutors.
• Track participants through court process and act as liaison between participant and case manager to ensure compliance with program.
• Document interactions with clients and/or community agencies/professionals.
• Attend court dockets and provide status of participants’ progress as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with participants and identify barriers and assist participants with resources to help overcome barriers.
• Other duties as assigned.
