Job Details**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee all accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting.
- Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.
- Ensure that records are maintained by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and support all corporate and tax filings.
- Manage preparing the company’s budget and financial forecasts, providing insight and analysis to support business decisions.
- Implement and oversee financial controls and systems to reduce risk and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Monitor cash flow, financial planning, and analysis, optimizing the company’s financial performance and strategic position.
- Contribute to company financial strategy and decision-making process, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with senior management to enhance financial reporting and performance metrics.
- Lead, develop, and support the accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience in a financial leadership role, ideally within the apparel, manufacturing, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and experience with financial audits.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in accounting software and systems.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and empowerment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of understanding complex financial information.
- Strategic thinker who can work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
