We are seeking a dynamic Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join our vibrant technology team. This position will play a crucial role in the financial health of our company by managing our payable accounts, ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting, and contributing to our overall financial strategy. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
2. Coordinating with vendors to resolve any discrepancies and ensure smooth transactions.
3. Preparing and processing payroll and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.
5. Assisting with 1099 filings and other year-end tax-related activities.
6. Managing office operations, including ordering office supplies and scheduling meetings.
7. Implementing and maintaining data entry processes and standards to ensure accuracy.
8. Assisting with other financial projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
2. Proficiency in vendor management, financial reporting, data entry, invoicing, payroll, 1099 filings, and expense reports.
3. Experience in office management, including ordering office supplies and scheduling meetings.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify errors and discrepancies in financial data.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively interact with vendors and internal team members.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
9. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
