Job Title: East Small Format Key Account Manager - Convenience Channel
Department: Sales/Key Accounts
Reports To Title: Director of Key Accounts
Location: Remote
Exemption: Salary P2
Summary of the Job:
Position is remote
This candidate will be responsible for driving sales and distribution across the convenience. This Key Account Manager must possess the ability to develop and flawlessly execute plans and have established relationships with the major customers in this channel.
The ideal candidate will need to be an experienced salesperson with expertise in the beverage industry. They will need to be able to work with key customer stakeholders and store level personnel. Additionally, this person should understand the structure and go market strategy of key retailers in the convenience channel.
The successful candidate must utilize and display their selling ability, business acumen, and leadership. They must operate with a blend of structure/discipline and flexibility/nimbleness.
Successful candidates will be required to embrace The Guayakí / Yerba Mate Co.'s strategy, bring an in-depth understanding of the beverage business and markets to grow Guayakí' s distribution across all retail channels.

Qualifications:
A working knowledge of DSD (direct store delivery) beverage experience is ideal.
Demonstrated proven success in sales and account management growth in a customer / consumer facing business.
Ability to develop and implement customer plans that deliver results
The ability to thrive in a highly competitive field sales environment
Thorough knowledge of sales, marketing, planning, business analytics
Must be able to work independently and be able to travel up to 40%.
Must have a reliable vehicle and smart phone
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3-5 years of related Key Account experience, established relationships with key customer key decision makers; A working knowledge of DSD (direct store delivery) beverage experience is ideal.
Demonstrated proven success in sales and account management growth in a customer / consumer facing business.
Ability to implement, develop, track, and monitor customer plans that deliver results
Experience building, presenting, and implementing programming
The ability to thrive in a highly competitive field sales environment
Strong negotiation skills
Must be able to work independently and be able to be in the field 75% of the time
Travel up to 20% of the time
Must have a reliable vehicle and smart phone
