Game Changer Sportfishing is Hiring a Chef Near San Diego, CA
Upscale sportfishing charter yacht looking for a Full or part time chef to share a sold out season with another chef. If you have another job and just love to be on the water and would like to cook on a boat, this might be for you. Charters are multi-day, ranging from 1.5 day to 4.5 days. Looking for a well rounded chef that cooks everything from scratch, including breads, pastas, sauces, etc. You would be cooking for 6 passengers and 4 crew for a total of 10 servings. We serve 3 main meals plus a morning snack and afternoon appetizer. Chef must be experienced, able to run their own kitchen, plan menus, purchase lists as well as serve meals on a schedule. Must have a people personality as the job puts you front and center of the passengers. Must be able to cook on a moving platform that does rock and must not get seasick.
This position is great exposure to showcase your culinary talents to a clientele that could possibly hire for private parties. It's a lot of fun, if you like boating and even fishing.
Pay is a daily rate, according to experience level, plus cash tips.
