What We Need FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our Lodging division. This position falls under our TA Connections line of business and is located remote/virtual. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting high value clients with a multi-regional footprint. You will report directly to Maribel De Los Santos and regularly collaborate with the Operations team(s)/department(s). How We Work As a Systems Process Coordinator you will be expected to work in an office environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace is home office set up Company-issued equipment ( remote access) Remote training Monthly home internet stipend Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Develops, manages, executes and renews hotel contracts on behalf of clients. Tracks and identifies savings and revenue potential in accounts by studying current business and identifying and evaluating additional needs/opportunities. Develops account loyalty by making presentations, explaining/ensuring knowledge of products, service enhancements and additions Contribute information to account management strategies by evaluating current products results; identify customer’s unmet needs; monitor competitive products; analyze customer reactions and share this knowledge with the Account Management team and leadership. Evaluates the results of current products, identifies unmet customer needs, analyzes and relays customer reactions and shares all acquired knowledge with the Account Management team and Upper Management. Supervise Account Coordinator assigned to your accounts when appropriate. Conduct training with hotels on TA Connections proprietary software procedures Leverage hotel relationships to assist the finance team with their reconciliation or collection efforts when needed. Liaise with Operations and support teams to ensure SLA’s are being met Learn, understand and participate in the account operation as needed. Gather data and prepare deliverables to be shared internally or with client Ensures all hotel contractual data is available and accurate on all required systems Identify savings and revenue potential in markets Effectively communicate with internal and external customers Conduct site visits when required Deliver Cost Savings Qualifications & Skills Travel industry knowledge preferred; international experience preferred Excellent people skills Excellent time management and follow-up skills Strong negotiation skills Contract management experience Strong financial acumen and attention to detail Ability to lead and work with a multidisciplinary team Ability to plan well and take initiative Positive attitude Bi - or multilingual preferred. Preferred languages include Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
