We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

This role is based remotely in the U.S. and will report to the VP of Finance

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the external accounting team
• Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations, promptly resolving discrepancies
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data, identifying trends and variances
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Complete the required tax forms
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the fiscal year auditing process
• Facilitate the auditing process, providing necessary documentation and explanations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Senior Accountant
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Proven experience in coordinating and liaising with external auditors during the fiscal year auditing process
• Experience in consolidating financial statements with multiple entities and subsidiaries operating with a foreign currency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy
