Position Summary

TheSenior Staff Accountant is responsible for the preparation and analysis offinancial documents and company management reports, preparation and recordingof financial transactions and performing standard month end closing proceduresand account reconciliations. The StaffAccountant will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the financialstatements, preparing reports for external auditors and identifyingcost-savings opportunities across the company.

Overview of Responsibilities

● Recording cashreceipts and financial transactions in financial software

● Oversee the Chart of Accounts maintenance;

● Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly management reports

● Preparation and analysis of financial documents for seniorleadership

● Consolidation/maintenanceof budgets in financial software and excel

● Prepare month end close journal entries,including but not limited to, expense accruals, depreciation expense, onlinesales postings, deferred revenue recognition

● Calculate and verify monthly Sales Tax payments

● Prepares various account analyses to ensure accuracy offinancial statements and to ensure correct documentation and properallocations.

● Prepares various documentation for external auditors.

● Review department policies and procedures to suggestimprovements in reporting of financial information

● Prepare weekly revenue pacing reports and decliningoperating expense budgets

● Additional projects, tasks, duties as per business need

Minimum Qualifications

● Minimumof 5 years experience in a professional accounting role, and/or equivalentrelevant experience

● Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting required

● Professional and effective interpersonal,communication, and listening skills across all levels of workforce

● Experience in R365 a plus!

● Proficientcomputer skills and competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Wordand Outlook.

● Must bedetail oriented with particular strength in time management and organization

● Abilityto manage multiple priorities and produce deliverables within strict deadlines

● Must beable to sit for extended periods of time; stand and walk regularly

● Strong data entry and word processingskills

● Prior experience with Restaurant365 aplus
