StubHub is seeking a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to help scale the accounting function for FinTech related activity at our high growth company. The Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally with FinTech, Engineering, and other departments across the company. The ability to manipulate large data sets using tools, such as power query, is a must.
What You'll Do

• Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations related to FinTech/Marketplace related accounts
• Collaborate with other departments to support the business and needs of the Finance team, (specifically Engineering and FinTech depts.)
• Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for statutory audits, quarterly reviews, and annual audits performed by external auditors
• Working with large data sets that require power query and other advanced analytic tools
• Support Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (accounting, finance, data analytics, etc.)
• Active CPA License
• 2 years relevant experience
• 2 years audit experience with public accounting firm
• Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets (Xlookups, Pivot tables, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python etc.)
• Strong aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements
• Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Exceptional organization and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and keep track of multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Big 4 Experience
• Mix of Public/Private experience
• NetSuite Experience
• Experience in the FinTech industry and working with PSPs

$102,200 - $118,800 a year
The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $102,200- $118,800 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
