Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for applying good communication and organization skills, by entering accurate data, maintaining assigned vendor accounts, ensuring vendors are paid timely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records

• Review and verify invoices, check request and customer refunds

• Enter and scan invoices into system

• Managing accounts payable using Multiview and Excel

• Prepare and process payments by check and electronic fund transfer

• Maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors, and respond to inquiries

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors

• Processing due invoices for payments

• Reconcile the credit cards with reference document and paid in timely manner

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

• Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records

• Basic data entry skills

• Excellent internal and external customer service skills in person, on the phone, and through email

• Ability to work as part of team

Education and Experience:

• Business or Accounting degree preferred

• Accounts Payable management required

• Accounting/Bookkeeping experience strongly preferred, as well

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
