Position Summary:

This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office. This role will support the work of management and other staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Front desk: Greeting visitors and answering all inbound calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Fluent in Spanish - read, write and speak
• Use of computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software systems to prepare reports, memos, and documents
• Generates, organizes and binds documents for contractual bids and proposals
• Maintains office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating demand, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt
• Maintains proactive contact and provide support to ensure corporate and operational goals are met
• Tracks inbound and outbound deliveries and packages to ensure the prompt arrival of products and documents via email, phone and the internet
• Arranges for travel as necessary for Company personnel
• Manages office calendars and conference room schedules
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma
• Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management is an asset

Experience and Competencies:

• 1-3 years of experience in an office environment
• Experience in the waste industry is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Suite is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
