Job Description
The Customer Service Representative has general customer service responsibilities for VMC customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:
Customer Service
- Proactively respond to, expedite and resolve any customer issues, questions, order status etc.… via telephone or email
- Respond to customer requests for information regarding products, pricing and services.
Order Entry
- Order entry of all new orders, revisions, cancellations etc.
Expediting requests
- Interact with production and shipping to expedite orders and facilitate timely shipments.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Competencies
- Effective interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and or AA Degree a plus
- 1-year administrative work experience in a manufacturing environment
