Position Summary:

This role will be the subject matter expert for our national Talent Acquisition efforts across the 6 states we operate in today.

Principle Responsibilities:

Provides Talent Acquisition support to all members of the team within the operation. This role will perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

  • Be a Talent Acquisition (“TA”) expert on the FCC Environmental Services, LLC Team.
  • Reports to the VP of Human Resources, and has another Talent Acquisition Specialist on their team.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial candidate contact to offer negotiation.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for a variety of positions, with a focus on roles in the waste industry. EX: Leadership, DOT and non-DOT Drivers, Technicians, Dispatchers, Recycling facility workforce, etc.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to attract top talent, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements, laws governing recruitment of talent, and interviews for fit with company culture.
  • Manages the employee onboarding experience to include DOT and Non-DOT positions.
  • Makes recommendations for the organization on how to improve, track, and manage the full TA lifecycle from beginning to end.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to hiring managers on recruitment best practices and strategies.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant recruitment regulations and laws.
  • Conduct retention round tables in the field to determine hiring successes, and build success profiles for key roles

Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum 5 years experience in place of degree.

Experience and Competencies:

  • 5 years of previous and progressive talent acquisition experience.
  • Prior experience with full-cycle recruiting implementation.
  • Prior experience using Workday as the HRIS system to recruit.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience with time management skills, prioritizing, and meeting deadline expectations.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong ability to influence company culture.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required,
  • Ability to communicate in French Creole a plus
