Edgeless Beauty Group is seeking a Human Resource manager to lead our human resources function, focusing on creating a positive employee experience and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will span talent management, team development, payroll, compensation and benefits, employment law, and other crucial aspects of the employment life cycle. As a key architect of our workplace culture, you will lead efforts to instill diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork, benefitting both our team members and clients.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set annual HR goals and track results through scorecards and analytics
  • Partner with leadership to maintain an organizational strategy and structure that supports business goals.
  • Develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies that meet the unique needs of each business unit.
  • Contribute to an excellent employee experience by establishing practices that ensure a positive recruiting experience, seamless onboarding, ongoing coaching and feedback, recognition of achievements, appropriate compensation and support of career interests.
  • Foster a respectful and functional work environment by establishing work practices and educational programs that promote communication, problem solving, and teamwork
  • Lead education and compliance of State and Federal employment laws. Ensure the Company and its leaders follow regulations such as FMLA, OSHA, FLSA and other HR related items.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, vendors, and applicants to address concerns, conflicts, and inquiries.
  • Maintain relationship with human resources partners such as MRA and employment lawyers
  • Stay current with the industry news and “best practices”
  • Manage payroll processing
  • Oversee company benefit programs including open enrollment process and ensuring timely communication and assistance for employees
  • Maintain annual benefit renewals and competitive compensation
  • Research new benefits and analyze existing year for strategic planning 
  • Resolve employee inquiries related to benefits and liaise with benefit providers.

Required Technical Skills, Education, Experience, Training and/or Credentials:

To perform this job, team member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Education.
  • 5 years previous experience in similar position within Human Resources
  • SHRM certification
  • Effective verbal and written skills
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning
