Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable clerk will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable department in various administrative duties, including many associated with the new opening of clinics across the country. The position will require heavy communication across various corporate department and outside vendors. This position will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager at Deca Dental.

• Provide administrative support for field team members regarding specific vendor accounts.
• Communicate with operations, training, and IT team for new opening related tasks.
• Set up accounts with clinic essential vendors.
• Communicate with construction companies and project team(s) to set up utility services per construction timelines.
• Respond to external vendors regarding changes in account, new accounts, etc.
• Request contracts for review, renewal and change as needed.
• Communicate with operations, training, and IT team for new opening related tasks.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Ensure accuracy in transactions and compliance with company standards.
• Work with AP and Accounting team on special projects.
• Process and record other accounting transactions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Position may require working on nights and weekends as necessary to meet job requirements and deadlines
• Strong verbal and communication skills required.
• Ability to work cross functionally with diverse teams across the company.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in accordance with new opening dates.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and accounting processes a plus.
• Knowledge in construction procedures a plus.
